BuildWell Coarse Putty is white cement based wall putty. It contains finest quality minerals, white cement and polymers and is more durable and has better adhesion strength compared to other conventional products like Gypsum and P.O.P.

Usage:
Specially developed to be used on concrete/mortar surface wall (Internal) and ceiling to cover unevenness and pinholes on plastered surface and make the wall/ceiling white, smooth and levelled.

  • Dampen the plastered wall surface with potable water. (Allow excess water to drain off completely).
  • Apply the above mix with the help of a steel trowel or putty blade starting from bottom to upwards, followed by right to left direction to a thickness of about 3-4 mm and let it dry for at least 3 hours.
  • If required more coats to cover unevenness, than it should be applied in multiple coat and each coat should not exceed less than 4mm.
    • For better results, it is always recommended to let the surface wall dry overnight for at least 10-12 hours. (Better adhesion to the base plaster).
  • Once the finish coat is fully dried and set, apply two coats of BuildWell Wall Putty for better whiteness and smocth surface for primer and paint application.
  • If required to remove any unevenness before any primer or paint application, level the surface with very fine emery paper not less than 300 no.

  • Clean loose particles, dirt, grease and traces of adhering material from the wall surface with the help of sand paper, putty blade or by wire brush.
  • For loose plastered areas, remove the defective material and re-plaster the area with BuildWell Ready-Mix Plaster.
  • For ceiling/wall, which is not even, re-plaster it with BuildWell Ready-Mix Plaster to make them even.
  • If any cracks in base plaster, fill it by using HomeSure Crack Filler.
  • Moisten the surface with sufficient quantity of clean water.
