VIEW DATASHEET

POLYCOLOR EXTERIOR WALL PRIMER is a water-based acrylic primer having good opacity and whiteness, which is designed to enhance the aesthetic look of the wall with the adhesion and durability of subsequent paint coats on exterior walls. It acts as a bonding agent, sealing the surface and providing Efflorescence Resistance on masonry and concrete surfaces.

Usage:
For Exterior (Masonry Plastered, bricks work and concrete surfaces)

Dilution: 2 parts of paint & 1 part of water
Drying Time: Surface dry time 20mins
Recoat Application: After 3 - 4h

  • New masonry surfaces must be allowed to cure completely. It is recommended to allow 28 days as the curing time for new masonry surfaces.
  • In areas experiencing excessive dampness, underlying surface exhibits chalkiness use wire brushing, Polycolor Fungicidal Wash & Treatment and apply Terraco Handycoat Exterior followed by 1 coat of Polycolor Exterior Wall primer and 2 – 3 coats of any POLYCOLOR PAINT.
  • To fill cracks up to 3mm use Polycolor Waterproofing Stucco Putty.
